In a remarkable initiative sponsored by The Ashburn Institute, students from Cal Poly Pomona studying political science and international relations recently had the opportunity of a lifetime. Rather than merely reading about global entities like the United Nations, the World Health Organization, and Geneva Call in textbooks, they were able to experience these organizations in action during their study abroad trip to Geneva.
